  •    Wine Description

As far as Pinot Noir or Spätburgunder Beerenauslese goes, few have ever tried it, and for that matter, neither had we! You will notice its amazing guava-copper color and the nose, which is full of papaya, botrytis, raisin and honey. It has a well-balanced full body with flavors of vanilla, honey, raspberry and strawberry and finishes with the tartness of apple and pear - OUTSTANDING!

One of the most amazing wines we have come across, it is loaded with botrytis cinerea and after 14 years of cellared aging, it is simply unbelievable!

We purchased the last of the 2004 Riesling Ice Wine from the Rauen winery. With less than 100 bottles available, this wine is a rare delicacy.
    Familie Rauen Wine - Mosel

The family-owned estate has been in the hands of Harald Rauen since 1982, when he picked up the production from his father. Unlike many other German wineries, Rauen is focused on selling to retailers instead of the end consumer directly at the vineyard. The estate’s vineyards stretch over 7.5 hectares and produce 70,000 bottles per year. Familie Rauen Winery Profile
