  •    Wine Description
What makes an Auslese so special is that it encompasses many of the amazing character traits of its more expensive noble sweet wine siblings, yet has a great quality to value ratio.

We are very pleased to carry the Kirchenberg Auslese from the Rauen winery and cannot emphasize what an exceptional wine this is. A very full and aromatic nose, with honey, vanilla and the mineral quality known to Mosel, perfect as an aperitif, dessert wine or for just about any special occasion.

    Familie Rauen Wine - Mosel

The family-owned estate has been in the hands of Harald Rauen since 1982, when he picked up the production from his father. Unlike many other German wineries, Rauen is focused on selling to retailers instead of the end consumer directly at the vineyard. The estate’s vineyards stretch over 7.5 hectares and produce 70,000 bottles per year. Familie Rauen Winery Profile
