  •    Wine Description

Harald Rauen approaches his vineyards with care and nurture. This particular Spätlese is halbtrocken or semi-dry has a very distinct nose with aromas of white peach, crisp apple and pink grapefruit. Match that with well-balanced acidity and Mosel mineral composition, and you have one delectable Spätlese. A fantastic value for the quality and a well-rounded wine for food pairing!

The intensity of flavor is what makes Riesling Spätlese (late harvest) unique. This Spätlese has great peach and apple aroma with tender minerality.
    Familie Rauen Wine - Mosel

The family-owned estate has been in the hands of Harald Rauen since 1982, when he picked up the production from his father. Unlike many other German wineries, Rauen is focused on selling to retailers instead of the end consumer directly at the vineyard. The estate’s vineyards stretch over 7.5 hectares and produce 70,000 bottles per year. Familie Rauen Winery Profile
