  •    Wine Description
On the steep slopes of Mosel River lie the great Piesporter sites. This particular Spätlese from Piesporter Gärtchen is feinherb (semi-dry) in style, with a big creamy velvet body and a nose full of crisp green apple, ripe pear and prickly citrus.

With ideal acidity and outstanding mineral composition, the semi-dry Blees-Ferber Spätlese is well-balanced and works great with fruit based salads, starters, spicy foods, heavy cheeses or simply for casual drinking. Hands down, one of our favorites!

The intensity of flavor is what makes Riesling Spätlese (late harvest) unique. This Spätlese has great peach and apple aroma with tender minerality.
    Blees-Ferber Wine - Mosel

The Blees-Ferber estate is located on a hill above Leiwen in the Bernkastel area, showcasing a beautiful view of the Mosel and the surrounding vineyards. Since winemaker Stefan Blees has taken over production of this family-owned estate in the mid-nineties, he has successfully increased the quality of the estate’s wines year over year.
