Dr. Hinkel is among our most unique and interesting winemakers. Nestled in the rolling hills of Rheinhessen, Roland Hinkel is a man with vision and history. His winery was founded in 1700 and is rooted in the earthy qualities that make Rheinhessen wines so enjoyable.
This particular wine is a great entry level Riesling (QbA), that is most certainly better than any grocery store Riesling. It has a wonderful nose of tangerine and Asian pear, is smooth and soft on the finish, and will appeal to those who are not looking to break their budget.
