  •    Wine Description
Dr. Hinkel is among our most unique and interesting winemakers. Nestled in the rolling hills of Rheinhessen, Roland Hinkel is a man with vision and history. His winery was founded in 1700 and is rooted in the earthy qualities that make Rheinhessen wines so enjoyable.

This particular wine is a great entry level Riesling (QbA), that is most certainly better than any grocery store Riesling. It has a wonderful nose of tangerine and Asian pear, is smooth and soft on the finish, and will appeal to those who are not looking to break their budget. Try it and then graduate to the Kabinetts!
