  •    Wine Description
The 2006 Lang Chardonnay will surprise most people, yes, a Chardonnay from Germany. Truth be told, the grape grows just about anywhere and in the right hands can be wonderful.

Hans Lang takes the approach of starting this wine in steel and then finishes it briefly in French oak. This gives the wine a nice flinty characteristic, with a creamy vanilla body and just a hint of oak at the end.  More along the lines of a Burgundy. Try it – You may be surprised!
