Wine Description

Crafted to the standards of the traditional Thanisch Riesling. This wine embodies a dry, mineral Mosel wine as it was meant to be – tons of crisp stone fruit! With a nose of petrol, stony minerals and a touch of peach blossoms, this wine is edgy and showcases the wonderful flavors of a dry Riesling. Warm summer citrus and lemon zest create a tart wine that finishes with a hint of apricot.

The Thanisch & Son winery is situated on the steep banks of the Mosel in the idyllic village of Lieser across the river from Bernkastel. The family-owned vineyard has produced wine since 1648.

Cuisine: Starters, chicken, fresh fish, shellfish, veggies, casseroles, light pastas.
