Wine Description

The Siegrist Riesling 15 is a perfectly integrated dry Auslese. It is extremely rare that we come across one that manages exceptional balance, which this one does seamlessly. This weighty wine has big tropical fruit that you expect from an auslese, but finishes with racy minerality.

The wine maker from this family estate prefers the Riesling 15 as his daily drinking wine. It is amazing when paired with food.

Cuisine: Lobster, crayfish and other shellfish, fish in light crème sauces, and roasted veal, pork, lamb, beef.

The Siegrist Winery

The Siegrist Winery grows grapes on 14.5 hectares and produces around 100.000 bottles per year. While the focus is on Riesling, Pinot varietals are also very important to the estate, especially Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc.
