Wine Description

Like many of our dry Spätlesen, this wine can handle most any cuisine and is structured to enhance the dining experience. A nose of spring citrus fruits, crisp minerality and the delicate essence of blossom upon first hitting the palate. Expect the unexpected!

The Thanisch & Son winery is situated on the steep banks of the Mosel in the idyllic village of Lieser across the river from Bernkastel. The family-owned vineyard has produced wine since 1648.

Cuisine: Lobster, king crab, shellfish, grilled, broiled or baked fish, poultry, veal, and wild game with hearty sauce.
