The Germans drink more sparkling per capita than any country in the world. In the US, we often consider bubbly a special occasion wine, but it really should be for any occasion. Sparkling is the perfect accompaniment to food and also a great way to welcome your guests, making them feel special.
Here we are offering a great introduction to a nice selection across a few different quality levels.
Over The Moon Rose Sekt - Semi-dry
A delightful and affordable sparkling from one of Germany’s better known Sekt producers. Bright acid with citrus notes of strawberry, melon, apple and pear. Perfect with food and serve chilled all by itself!
Barth Pinot Noir Rosé Sekt - Brut
This bubbly is made from Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) and done in a rosé style. Light pink in color, the body is tart and crisp that is covered in fresh strawberry and cantaloupe. With a slightly off-dry finish, it maintains the juicy brilliance of Pinot Noir!
Each wine spends 18-36 months on the yeast and is then hand riddled and disgorged upon order to ensure maximum freshness!
Over The Moon Riesling Sekt - Semi-dry
A crisp and affordable sparkling from one of Germany’s better known Sekt producers. Bright acid with citrus notes of tangerine, lemon, apple and pear. Perfect with food and serve chilled all by itself!
Barth Riesling Sekt - Brut
Considered one of Germany’s best Sekt producers, Norbert has crafted a delightful bubbly with the essence of pear and apple, leaving just a hint of sweetness. The Barth estate specialty is traditional method sparkling wine (German Sekt).
As a VDP winemaker, Nobert Barth has crafted a traditional sparkling wine using his unique blend and all of the steps of the Méthode Champenoise. Each wine spends 18-36 months on the yeast and is then hand riddled and disgorged upon order to ensure maximum freshness.
