Monte Xanic has been producing wine in the Valle de Guadalupe since the late 1980s, making them one of the older wineries in this now-booming region. Monte Xanic wines have been witness to history in Mexico - their Chardonnay was the wine used to toast the signing of NAFTA in 1992, and Gran Ricardo was served at a dinner in Mexico to honor Pope John Paul II. With meticulous winemaking practices and an attitude of continuous improvement, the Monte Xanic wines are some of the most awarded and well known in the Valle.
This Chardonnay is unoaked, refreshing, and easy-going. Ripe pineapple, green mango, and lemon zest, with lemon blossom and just a touch of savory minerality.
Cuisine: Goes best with mild cheeses, Caesar salad, fresh white fish, grilled chicken, buttered lobster and shrimp.
