2007 Thanisch Riesling Hochgewächs (Sweet) - We know the perception that many of you have of German wines is that of Liebfraumilch and the infamous Blue Nunn. Regardless, we have a much better alternative, and with your cooperation, we would like the opportunity to convert you into a fan of a real German Riesling. Through a collaborative effort with Jörg Thanisch, we can assure you that what we have to present here is a wonderful QbA that is sweet, acidic and very, very pleasant! Fresh banana meets honeydew.
Gutzler Riesling Auslese (Sweet) - Gerhard Gutzler’s passion for viticulture finds its culmination in this Riesling Auslese, made from hand-selected single berries. The color is a beautiful gold hue with a sumptuous nose. Extremely well rounded, full in the mouth and a perfect balance between complex fruit and acidity, this wine finishes clean on the palate with a subtle underlying mineral quality. Unlike many other Auslese and noble sweet wines, this one comes in a 750ml bottle and pairs fantastic with any spicy cuisine, especially Thai, Indian, Mexican & Southwestern!!!
