Truly Fine Wine provides sommelier-curated wines from hand-picked wineries around the world.
We also represent some of the best German wineries at top restaurants in the United States, including Michelin Star and Five Diamond properties.
We are fortunate to have been featured in the below publications...
A Humble Beginning
Truly Fine Wine was founded in 2005 with the intention of bringing awareness to both contemporary and classic German wines. The goal was to break down the many misconceptions surrounding German wine, considered by wine professionals to be among the most important and often misunderstood wine producing regions in the world. Today, we represent some of the best grower-producers in Germany and are privileged to work with some of the top restaurant concepts in America.
A Bright Future
Through our industry relationships, we have expanded to create global wine selections as a way to explore the most important wine-producing regions and varietals of the world. Our Wine Value Packs provide the opportunity to enjoy sommelier-curated wines that are creatively combined for anyone, ranging from the novice to the advanced palate.
A Masterful Collaboration
My Cellar Master is a fun way to enjoy wines via educational side-by-side Themed Tasting Experiences. This concept was developed in partnership with Eddie Osterland, America’s 1st Master Sommelier. Each Tasting Experience includes learning materials, pairing chart, recipes and a video guide. My Cellar Master is a preferred gifting program for many of our corporate clients and was featured in the Forbes Holiday Gift Guide.
What Our Customers Are Saying About Us...
"Truly Fine Wine has been part of my program for over 5 years. I feature their wines in 6 of my restaurants. Their wines are of the highest quality and the prices are very competitive. But most importantly, the service is always exceptional."
Maurice DiMarino, Wine & Beverage Manager, Cohn Restaurant Group
"Thank you for the experiences and first class services provided both in my visits to your shop and wine events. All who attended the wine dinners were dazzled, happy and much satisfied by your selections and presentations, resulting in happy and fun events."
Richard Long, Food & Wine Committee - Past Chairman, University Club
Damon Goldstein & Sabrina Bochen – Co-Founders
Truly Fine Wine was built out of a shared passion for extraordinary grower-producer German wines which can be extremely difficult to find in the US. Today, it has evolved into much more, something we are proud to share.
Originally from Northern New Jersey, Damon has a degree in Economics from UC San Diego and has owned and operated a number of restaurant concepts.
Sabrina was born and raised in the heart of the Rheingau, one of Germany’s most historic and important wine producing regions. Damon and Sabrina met by chance in 1998 and dated long distance for two and a half years before marrying. In that time, they spent a great deal of time drinking amazing wines along the banks of the Rhine.
Through their shared love for this historic wine region, they have had over a decade of amazing global food and wine experiences with people from all walks of life. Wine is now a focal point when spending time with friends and family. Searching for life changing food and wine pairings has also become their passion. They are fortunate to continue this pursuit and hope you enjoy the journey as much as they have!
