A delicious new addition to our selection. A crisp, well defined edge that is very lean and laden with stone fruit. This sparkling (Sekt) Pinot Blanc spends 18-24 months on the yeast and is super bright and with complex structure. A unique wine, the white-skinned Pinot Blanc grape is related to Pinot Noir and should not be confused with white-pressed Pinot Noir (Blanc de Noir).
Mark and Norbert Barth are considered among the elite Sekt producers in Germany. All bottles are disgorged on demand when we at Truly Fine Wine place an order. They also carry a hand riddling mark on the bottom.
Cuisine: Starters, chicken, fresh fish, shellfish, veggies, cheeses or as an apéritif!
Reviews: 4/5 Stars, Restaurant Wine Guide
Medium bodied, round, balanced, this is a sparkler with subtle, rich flavors (pear, peach skin, roasted nut, caramel) and a smooth, long finish. – RW
