A versatile wine that is able to develop over time but is also great to enjoy now. This Syrah exhibits floral violet notes, black and white pepper and subtle spicy anise and liquorice oak. Fermented with natural yeast and around a quarter whole bunches, this wine underwent regular hand plunging to extract tannin and color. After extended post ferment maceration the wine was then matured in 10% new French oak and received minimal interventions. The wine was carefully racked from barrel to tank only once just before bottling.
