The German Rosé Sekt Pairing will show you two different German Sekt examples of everyone’s favorite type of sparkling wine. Rosé!
This Pairing will show you the quality level difference between two different methods of making sparkling wines. We will show you an everyday drinking sparkler made in the affordable “Charmat Method,” next to one made Traditional Methode Champenoise, like those made famous in the Champagne region of France.
This Pairing includes the following wines:
Wine 1: NV Over the Moon Rosé Cuvée Sekt is made by the Charmat Method. It shows red berries, cranberry, strawberry, cantaloupe and blood orange with notes of red flowers and vanilla on a bright bubbly texture.
Wine 2: NV Barth Pinot Rosé Sekt is a more serious hand made wine with a secondary fermentation happening in the bottle. You will find delicate and pure flavors reminiscent of strawberries, raspberries, Rainier cherries and pomegranate with layers of violet, marzipan, Earl Grey tea and smoke with a rich mousse made from fine bubbles.
