In the glass, the wine is medium ruby with purple hues. On the nose, the wine boats good aromatic intensity companied with complex aromas of cherries, raspberries, currants, wood, caramel, spice, and hibiscus. On the palate, the wine is expressive, intense, dry, firm tannins, and long lasting finish.
65 % Carignan, 25 % Grenache, and 10 % Syrah coming from the Valle de Guadalupe. Pre-fermentation maceration, fermentation in stainless steel with temperature control with select yeast with subsequent aging in second use French and American barrels for six months. Limited production of 14,700 bottles annually.
Pairings: We recommend this wine with dishes, like seared tuna, pork with rich sauce, pizzas, hamburgers and pastas. With Mexican cuisine a discada norteña.
