This 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot blend is handcrafted by Italian wine maker Paoloni in the sandy clay soil of Valle de Guadalupe. After 14-21 days of contact with the skin and seeds the wine goes into the malolactic fermentation in oak casks for 12 months. This is a great value Bordeaux blend that’s extremely inviting with juicy, fruity aromas of plums, blackcurrants, and black cherries, chocolate, violets, and licorice, followed by lively acidity and a good tannic grip on the palate with a long finish.
