This 100% Sangiovese Grosso (Brunello Clone) is hand crafted by Paolo Paoloni in the clay and sandy soil of the Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico. After 21-30 days of contact with skins & seeds, the juice then undergoes malolactic fermentation for 8 months in French Oak barrels. Granite in color with brick red hues. Aroma of floral red fruits, cherry vanilla, powerful, but yet gentle on the palate with silky tannins and good acidity. Long finish. A complex, very elegant wine that you can drink now to 2020.
Pairings: Beef tacos, meatball pizza, pasta bolognese, grilled burgers, and spicy BBQ.
