The Trentadue family has a long and storied history in California viticulture and winemaking. As one of the pioneering families of Sonoma viticulture, the Trentadue family owned both the Geyserville and Monte Bello vineyards that have for decades been some of the most important vineyard names outside of Napa Valley for California winemaking. The family eventually sold both to Ridge, but the two producers have a rich history of working together.
The La Storia line are Trentadue's reserve series wines, worthy of aging while also being delicious and approachable upon release. It's full of classic Zin flavor - ripe blueberry, blackberry compote, dried raspberry. The finish is toasty with a touch of vanilla from time in the barrel. Great for a variety of pairings. It's bold enough to stand up to roasted, saucy meats, but pairs well as the jam to your Sonoma-County goat cheese as well!
